So we ran into some major issues this past week. Everyone else's Unity Collab decided to take a dive and Jack and Jacob lost a good bit of progress. Luckily I had made a back up of a recent save and we eventually able to get our project back up and running.
This week I mostly worked on the simple player UI and added scoring and a pause menu. I also made a prototype main menu, which will change once assets are made for it.
Coming up, I will be working with Jacob to get coffins in graves and connecting them with scoring. I also need to work on sorting the player / enemy layers so it doesn't look like flickering. To really get the game playable we need to have coffins going in graves, along with scoring and have player and enemy attacking and deaths.
